I love that High West MWND. That is one of my favorites right now. Really need to go pick up a bottle for myself.

They have literally 9 or so left. I was surprised to see so many

I have heard that new batch of Willett is better than the last

I poured that Willet for the 1st time last night and really enjoyed it, wish I could find some more
My batch # is 15c10 so is that the latest batch?

No clue but it shouldn't be tough to find. Has something changed in that regard?

Did you get it at Dorignacs?

Van winkle 10 going down the hatch currently. What should the next pour be?

How is the Old Forester 1897? Started to pick up a bottle the other day but ended up getting another bottle of AE rye.

Had this at Gautreau's last year, incredible bottle...I asked for Hirsch 16 or something like that, they felt bad and gave EW23 for like $20.

I'll let you know once I try it....
Update: great nose and taste to match IMO. If your into trying new bourbons I think this is a must try at $50. Dorignacs wanted $60, glad I had gone to Martin's first

I would propose a moratorium on buying 12yo scotch. Seriously
I appreciate the advice, but there are some scotches that I enjoy, such as Laphroaig 10 year, that don't fit your criteria. I'm definitely "newish" to scotch, but I'm not opposed to trying different ones. I still haven't had Tomatin 12 year, and that's another one I'll purchase if I see it. I won't buy the Glenfiddich 12 year again, but you live and learn.
But, I'll also say I agree with you that the older scotches are better. I really enjoy Oban 14, Lagavulin 16, and Balvenie Caribbean Cask. And I'll take your advice and get the Glenfiddich 15 year soon as well.
