I'm also in for TD glasses. I prefer the large glencairn only because I don't have one like that, and I already have rocks glasses and normal glencairn glasses. I also feel the large glencairn style is more unique

I really dig the big glen too. I looked around more at rocks glasses and they almost all look the same. If I am mixing I’ll ise my yeti rambler Or larger. I’m still going to poke around when I have some time.

I do need to confirm the imprint area too. The imprint area they show for that big glen doesn’t seem big enough to me.

Also there is no etching on that big glen. They can do some sort of fake etching but with the fine detail of what I had put up they suggested printing it. I’ll follow up with just how long lasting is that printing.

What exactly is fake etching? And what about a simpler design on a big glen? I forget who, but some local hero around here suggested something resembling a store pick stick custom to us.... would probably look good on a big glen??

Btw..I'm cool with whatever...just kicking around ideas

They said no laser engraving but can do a Satin Etch. Not sure if the difference at this point lol. And I'm good with other logos I was just messing around on my phone.

It seems like a satin etch isn't an etch...it's a chemical treatment that makes the glass translucent. The logo I guess would be more frosted on than etched

Yea I didn't think that would be a good way to go. I think the ones I have from Bourbon house might be like that...seems they are lighter these days.

Quick little sketch for the group to look at...just for a visual. That round logo might look good on the bulbous part of the glass.

I don't post all that often but I lurk a lot and have read pretty much every post in the thread and I'd be all in on some glassware.

I'd buy both a larger glencairn and a rocks glass if they are both available.

I got some beer glasses from someone who did something like that locally and they are terrible. You can barely see the etching.

Whoever did this glass, the etching looks good.

Yea if you have it etched it should be with a laser. This glass can not have that tho. And they call for only .5" for imprint area, but show it with the bigger logo I posted. Once I see the logo direction ill call and talk to a person. I am not opposed to the printing on it.

I have used this company a cpl times so far with 100% approval.

How about offsetting it on the large glen and cocking it slightly similar to the stickers on bottles?

I'm in for a glass. Instead of TD, maybe it would be WBS or WBST (whiskey/bourbon/scotch). Don't want any site conflicts to mess with the thread.

Need to hit up Kim to see where he had the jamboree glasses made. This thing has gone through the dishwasher many times unphased.

I like the idea of a etching looking like a sticker on the side of the glass and a main logo on the front

ETA, if we go this route, we can simplify the sticker, perhaps TD Approved on the top of the circle and Juice on the bottom.

with dem baws in the center...and someone esle suggested it above, but I def envisioned it kinda cocked to the side like a sticker would be n a bottle.
