Not too bad for the price. I may side by side with the KC 100 proof rye that’s around the same price I think. Probably a solid OF mixer.

I understand all the 4 Roses “picks” these days are just single barrels they pick and send to the buyer, and there isn’t any advance tasting or chances to choose the barrel involved. Can someone clarify this?

How is the A119? I haven't seen this batch in Alabama yet.

excellent. Hot when you first pour it but after a couple minutes it mellows out and I drink it neat, which I do for most.

Long time reader and first time poster...cliche statement I know. After following this thread for so long I had to share this story. Long story short...friend who has no knowledge of bourbon gets a bottle from grandmaw years ago. It was for her late husband and she was just emptying out his stash. She tells grandson she’s giving it to him but she doesn’t like people to drink so wait until she passes and says he can have a drink in her honor at her funeral. He went to open it and recognized it was old and he knew I was kinda into bourbon so before he opened it he sent me a picture asking if it was anything special. Curious what y’all thoughts are on what it’s worth. Now I’m going to attempt to attach two pictures of the bottle....please be kind if I fail...
Ok so I can’t post my picture because...well I’m just dumb but this is what his bottle looks like. Unopened 1982 bottle of Old Weller 107
Forgot to add that it has a K&B price tag of $10.51 stamped on it!

Now THAT is a CSB. That’s worth some dinero. Tax strip and label intact, great fill level. Great bottle.

That's a very nice bottle. I've been looking for a 1982 bottling (of anything) and I would likely have to pass on that if I saw it offered due to price. Probably worth $1200-1400 on the secondary market.
Tell him if he's looking to sell it, I'll offer 20 times retail.
