Knocked two off the bucket list tonight. Old Forester Birthday and Pappy 23. $17 and $52 respectfully. Bourbon tasting for Make a Wish foundation. We received a special half off list from the owners. Not part of the Bourbon tasting. They were very good. No urge to try them again though.

I'm currently in New Zealand, and drinking mostly wine as I've visited 4 wineries already, but as usual I stop into liquor stores looking for something special or different.

What's the story on this?
Old? I've seen the white label BiB.

It was $48 nzd, which is like $32. Pretty sure this stuff was like <$15?

Picked up some wild turkey rare breed at duty free to do drink on while here with friends. Was 2 bottles for $99 Nzd or $68 USD.

I'm here with a group of 50-60 people. New Orleans Rugby Old Boys tour. 16 day trip.

Currently in Taupo. We spent a night on Waiheke Island.
Later we head to Napier, then Wellington, and over to Nelson on South island. Then off to Roratonga on the Cook Islands.

That's the kind of thing I've been looking for but just saw some basic "made for duty free" crap like Makers 101 and Jameson Lively.

With death, comes life. Just opened these two tonight. Spoiling myself for no good reason.
