That the Alexander’s store pick is good or the EHT Small Batch is better than Eagle Rare?

I need a bourbon, a friend came to the house to fix an electrical issue and I want to repay him with a decent bourbon. Something around 30 bucks but something unique as well.

I am not much of a Bourbon drinker...a rum drinker.
But here are a couple that I have found very smooth and enjoyable...yes, I am not making any distinction between Whiskey / Bourbon, but you are looking for something different

Tullamore Dew : Irish Whiskey .. very smooth around $30
Larceny 1870: Also pretty smooth .. from the Elijah Graig Distributor around $ 28

PSA for all of us that live in Alabama. Henry McKenna 10 is now available at ABC. My store had to order it to get a case in but I was pretty stoked to be able to buy it here instead of smuggling it back from New Orleans

A local retailer is having an event tomorrow night, so I would assume your statement is true.

Anyone have any luck with buying things at Dorignacs? I don’t go often but went tonight for their tasting. While they didn’t have any coveted bourbons I was shocked by their markup on middle tier bourbon. For instance I picked up a bottle of blantons yesterday for 49 at another Metairie store and saw it at Dorignac today for 80. Are they now doing secondary pricing?
