More overpriced sourced garbage for rookies to buy.

Yes indeed. Give me any BT product that's under $60 a bottle. And it'll all taste 10X as good.

Notice the massive hole in the shelf to the right of it. Buffalo Trace $25.99

I'm sure I'm going to get a few downvotes for this, but I accidentally discovered that a few drops of Macadamia Nut Liqueur in my Eagle Rare is pretty damn good.

I didn't do it on purpose, I just poured a taste of the liqueur in my glass to see what it tasted like. I pour the ER into the glass after I drank the liqueur, but it had residue in it.

Quite good!!!

I didn't know macadamia nut liqueur was a thing. Wtf else would you use that for?

Some tiki drinks call for it.

I honestly hated it. I tend to prefer rye flavored bourbons over wheaters though.

I got a bottle from specs in Dallas around this time last year. I thought it was solid for the price. Was around $25 there not sure what calandros is selling for right now.

I bought a bottle of the Macadamia Nut liqueur, a bottle of Lady Godiva White Chocolate liqueur, and a bottle of Cake Flavored vodka, to make a "Macadamia Cookie martini". It was quite good, but really rich.

I never did try the macadamia liqueur by itself, thats why I tried it yesterday as I was reaching into my liquor cabinet

Perusing through my copy of the Savoy manual last week I found my new favorite The Dandy. A take off of the Manhattan with Dubonnet instead of vermouth. The recipe calls for a 1:1 with rye but I like it better 2:1 with more rye.

2 parts rye
1 part Dubonnet
dash of orange liquor ( I used Serrano Blood Orange)
dash of Peychaud's

The Dubonnet instead of vermouth gives it a bit more bitterness which I like.
