For those of you who like Irish Whiskey, Martin's Metairie just got a few bottles of the Power's Johns Lane Release 12 year old. This is the first time I've seen it in the US, much less Louisiana.

Think Metairie only got 4 and Baronne got 5 (or maybe the other way around).
$63 was the price, which is very fair. I payed around $55 for a 700ml at the Dublin airport.

You were there with a few other guys? When I got there I asked about BTAC and the bartender mentioned the only one left was the Handy... then 5 minutes later I saw him empty out the bottle for y'all!

Looks kind of pricey, but they do have some interesting speakers and cool restaurant/bourbon pairings.

In general, I've found that the fancier the packaging and marketing, the less the quality of the whiskey inside.
