Anyone else notice Rock Hill Farms is no longer listed on Buffalo Trace's website? I know it still exists.

Wow, it sure has. That and Hancock Reserve are both still listed on their greatbourbon dot com page. But maybe they will phased out and all juice will be Blanton's? Kind of like the OC 10 year juice going to Eagle Rare bottling?

Had a chance to try this over the summer. Was good to be the oldest friend of the father of the bride. Got to share the good stuff.

Poll for you guys:

Best age stated Rye that isn't Saz18, VWFRR or Booker's Rye?

Edit: That is at least reasonably available. I don't need the 1909 Old Overholt or 1917 Mount Vernon answers.

WHISKEY TASTING:

Martins Metairie (upstairs event room)
Saturday, October 29th
5-7pm

This board is invited to a BYO whiskey tasting.

Cost of attendance: a store pick of 4 roses, etc or better (a bottle that is not regularly available...we want to share stuff that we havent already all tried).

Hosts: BHAM and TA

ISO: A woman with questionable morals and a wardrobe to match to pour our whiskey.

A headcount is imperative so please rsvp (BHAM and i will definitely be there)

Also, please do not go to Martins and ask about it (as one of you did when i first posted about this). The event doesnt exist. It will not appear on a Martins calendar. Think of it as a private party...with lots of good whiskey.

Will be a great chance to meet up and share some whiskey...

Say TA, you make me wish I lived back in the Big Easy. I'd be on this like Brees on a 400yd game.

How's the '16 BB?
