I bought Weller last year at that price. Bought 4 left the others on the shelf in North Louisiana. They are probably gone now. Baby Saz is at Costco in Baton Rouge for that price last time I purchased.

I could have put down a VW10, Lot B and Pappy 20 for a hair over $250 but I thought that would be cheating.

yeah not fair. I was going more for everyday available stuff. Just trying to see what others opinions are.

Last one I got was a handle of 12 outside of Austin about a year ago
Actually where I picked up two handles of 12 this past weekend. I can look up the exact place if anybody is interested, but it was called Tom's and it was on the north side of Austin. If anybody is in the area they had at least one handle left as of last Friday

I want to move wherever you live. I've never seen a Weller 12 and baby saz is $40 here.
I bought w12 last year for $24.99 and I'm pretty sure my 1.75 baby saz was around $34.

a vermouth bomb fa sho.
BUt it's freakin delicious. I haven't had many different kinds of 'finished barrel' (port, wine, vermouth, syrah, natural light) juice..so it is reallly different than what i'm used to compared to all my other ryes and straight bourbon.
Will have to come back to it for sure. But I like it a LOT..and the color is fantastic (prob from the finishing)

Finished bottles are often not my favorites, but this is very good.

I found this forum while googling for info on Calandro's store selects and figured I had to join up and say hello. You guys drink well!
I've lived in Texas for the past 18 years but grew up in BR. My bourbon buying strategy is this: Visit family in BR, make a trip to Calandro's, buy a couple of whatever their current store pick is. Works every time, those guys know how to pick 'em.
