After a valiant effort to find the JD SR Rye and coming up empty, I found this. I’ve been wanting to try it and RR Discount had the little guy for $25. Man this bottle is pretty damn good. I love high proofs and dare I say it’s very reminiscent of StaggJr but with its own qualities.

That being said...if anyone has an extra bottle of the JD SR Rye, I have a few bottles I can offer for trade. Pretty sure the stores are done with having them so I’m now on the trading market for it.

First time opening the zuppardos. Solid pick by them. Not as unique as the Elios pick tho. Wish I had another 750 but I do have tall one.

What does this usually go for at stores? Seems I saw one around here (central MS) for $150 or so.

I’m heading to the distillery in 2 weeks for a barrel pick. If I can scoop one, it’s yours. They may have a couple left there.

Mid $60s. I’m not a secondary guy so if I saw it for anything much over $80 I’d let it go.

10-4. I may be mistaken on that price, but this was in a store known for high prices on allocated bottles.

Any good liquor stores around Natchez? Going there in a few weeks for anniversary weekend, and I’m looking to do some whiskey shopping. Is it worth testing my luck there or is it better to bring something from home?
