It's been over a year since they announced that the Rye was going to be off the shelf for a little while...still not finding it anywhere in South Louisiana. Had a buddy bring me a bottle of the Rye from Tennessee last month. It was bottled in 2015 so it had been sitting on the shelf for awhile. Anyone seen any 2016 bottles yet?

Found a couple dusty bottles going through some of the Father in Laws stuff this weekend. I just did a quick search of the bottles. Seems like the Lem Motlows Tennessee Whiskey may me somewhat of a collectors item. Any one know anything about these bottles or if the juice is worth drinking? I read somewhere the Henry McKenna jug may contain led or something like that. All bottles are still sealed.

Thanks. I'm a big fan of EHT. SB and SmB. Guess it's Straight to the Rye next. How's it compare to Yippee? That stuff is pretty unique.

Now I see what all the hoopla is about. Got 3 bottles. Two N's and a T. I'd like to buy a vowel...

So I'm not sure how I feel about this but Matthew McConaughey is the new creative director or something for wild turkey. I'm a big fan of 101 and rare breed so I wasn't sure about this. But the video is well done and feels real. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this partnership.

i'm sure it will involve some sappy, soft-spoken endorsement for WT similar to what he did on those awful Lincoln commercials

Thanks for sharing tilco. Thought vid was nicely done. I see only upside for WT in this relationship. MM is on top right now. Much better than his Lincoln endorsement. Hey he may not have had creative liberties there. We shall see.

It cracks me up that people treat this dude as some deep, philosophical thinker when he was arrested for playing the bongos nude

1PD: Booker's Rye

I struck out on the Four Roses LE small batch last year but I'm thinking about trading for one. I had the '13 which was incredible and the '14 which was really good but just didn't measure up. How did the '15 stack up to them? I read it was somewhere in between.
