Which restaurants aren't overpriced?

The curbside thread inspired me... It seems like every single establishment on this board is overpriced according to most of the people here.
Are there any places that arent?

Did you read the thread, or just the OP?

Most people on here thought the OP was foolish, and that $16/person for lunch at a non-fast food restaurant was reasonable.

Pinetta's
Roul's Deli
Atcha Bakery

I've thought about starting this thread multiple times. Not satirically either.
Part of it is inflation. $10-12 for lunch is the new normal. Its no longer $8-10. Part of it is people's appetites changing, going for quality and healthier food over quantity
However, I do think there is a bubble of some sorts. Not that it will all come crashing down, but I think BR food prices are above what most people are willing to pay for them. That is why I think we see so many closures of average places. I think there is a place in the market primed to be taken advantage of. A place like Lit Pizza comes in here with good pizzas, almost big enough for multiple servings, unlimited toppings for $8... Place is always packed and expanding like crazy.

I don't think many places are over priced, especially when I'm looking for quality.
There are two in my area and annoy the hell out of me with their pricing..... Legacy Kitchen and The Galley.

The hot food bar at Whole Foods is ridiculously overpriced.. and most of the time it all looks like hot garbage.

The Galley is one of the worst offenders. Just go to Peche for the same price.

Yes that place. I get they put out a good product, but about four years ago was my last visit and I recall a fried tiliapi sandwich for $14, basic shrimp and grits for $19, and a redfish dish for $29.
Not horrible, but that’s French Quarter tourist kind of pricing

I find Elsie's very reasonable for what you are getting. Seems "fair."

I think the problem is that people are going to curbside expecting to pay what they pay at other burger establishments in BR. Curbside offers signature burgers and there's an up-charge for the those. If you want a regular burger, there's probably better and cheaper options in BR. If you want a signature burger with specialty toppings, go to curbside and expect to pay more.

If you're trying to save a buck, hard to go wrong with a special from Popeyes.

Middendorf's
I think you can still get a seafood platter for like 18 bucks.
Their catfish plate may be like 13 or so.
