Johnny's
Deano's
Pizza Village
Alesis

I've never been to Johnny's but the hype this board gives it I must try it soon. How would you rank those 4.

Pizza Village all day for me. The other 3 I don't really dig too much.

ETA:

1. Pizza Village

2. Alesi's
3. Deano's
4. Johnny's

Screw those other piece of shite pizza butchers. Go to Johnny's. Get a 14" Sweep add jalepenos and anchovies. Tell them "extra bake" (it's a little known local trick that makes the best pizza in the world a little better). Eat it. Die happy.

Then what is all the hype about Johnny's. A running joke on here that I didn't catch?

Are you saying that because you live in North Louisiana and never tried the others or is Johnny's that good?

I've only tried the one on Highland in BR and it's a buffet place. So there's that.

1. Alesis - for old fashioned greasy italian pizza.

2. Deanos - for specialty type pizza

Other two aren't even a choice for me. Pizza Village was a high school pizza place for me. Nothing really special. Johnny's is WAY over-hyped in my opinion.

You answered my question. Obviously you are biased and haven't been to the other places. Since Johnny's is probably the only good food up north You will say that.

I don't know if it is the best but it is pretty damn good. It's on Jefferson just north of Essen.

For about three hours a day..Their non-buffet pizza is much better..Having had seven different Johnny's the one on Highland is one of the better ones..Central is stepping it up..

You people from south la (Nola) in particular sure are butthurt about Johnny's pizza place.
It's comical.

As another poster stated the sweep from any nrth la location with the extra bake is as good as you'll find anywhere.

Just fricking dwi.

Ranking Johnny's based on their buffet is like trying to rank a steakhouse based on their dish water. Order a 14" (non-party pizza) with extra cheese and only then will you get the hype.
