Militello's used to be incredible, but then the Ol' Master passed on.

Theres a brand with a spicy variant. Makes the best muff. Gotta pick the carrots out tho. Too crunchy, doesn’t belong.

Rouses Olive Salad is surprisingly good.
Im always surprised how good Rousse’s store brand products are. Red and green pestos are most excellent too. An employee told me a lot of store brand products are imported from Italy.

The Rouse family and purchasers make multiple trips to Italy per year.

Central Grocery and by a lot.
Central's has 80% olives while Boscoli's you have to search for them. The only issue with central's is the olives are too close to whole. You need to immersion blend it a bit.

No I am just a very poor coonass. Central Grocery is not my preference. Cannatelas is very good. Cannata’s is great. You are an arsehole.

You guys are killing me. Most of the olive salads you're posting are fake. They're made with 100% SOY oil. Gross. Not healthy, highly inflammatory and olive salad is "duh" made with olive oil. Last time I checked, Rouse's, Krewe and Monjuni's were made with 100% olive oil. My favorite brand is a sleeper that I stumbled upon at Carter's but only certain Carter's like the new one in Denham. Can't remeber the name but its a huge jar, great price and it's olive dense with 100% olive oil. I'll look at my receipts and post it as soon as find it. Someone on this thread mentioned adding grated romano. Excellent pro tip. I always add romano to my Muffuletta's.
If you have the time making your own olive salad is soooo much better and sooo much less expensive.

Whatever they use at Zuppardo's

Central Grocery is over-hyped and over-priced but deservedly so: long-standing Sicilian American grocery store who were the first to sell the muffuletta. Their olive salad is entirely too salty for my tastes, though.
Boscoli is good but over-priced.
Rouses is the best you can buy in the store. Very good and at a reasonable price point.

Both made me $hit equally and taste good on a ham sandwich.

Monjuni’s is the best imo

Had some Boscoli on toasted sourdough with Brie yesterday. Amazing

Whatever olive salad Johnnys Pizza used on their Muffulettas back in the 90’s

The very best olive salad isn't pictured here. The in-store made Olive Salad from Fertitta's Delicatessen is the original olive salad in the US, and to this day remains the best
