Going to NO next week for vacation and want to take the wife out for a nice anniversary dinner.

Side topic, what are some of the newer great restaurants?

I would get a burger at the airport before heading out of that hellhole.

You may get some outstanding responses on the Food and Drink Board... that said...Commander's Palace is my recommendation.

You need to hurry and make reservations

You need to give some more info... price point, what type of fare, how casual, neighborhood?

A man and his wife were tragically shot to death while celebrating their anniversary at a New Orleans restraint...

FDB is dead at this hour.

Price point under $300 for the whole meal.

I'm not all fancy so I'd probably go to Deanie's.

I'm sure we'll go to Deanie's, just not for an anniversary dinner. We don't go out much, maybe only once a quarter for a really nice meal.
