Commander's Palace. I had lunch there on Monday and it was great as usual. Or Galatoire's. When celebrating something you can never go wrong with Galatoire's.

Just looked at Restaurant Revolution and I wanted to try everything on their menu. Looked great!

My wife and I did something odd for our anniversary but it turned out awesome
Started at Domenica for drinks and a meat and cheese tray for happy hour. Then went to dragos for a drink and some oysters then went to Gautreaus to split an entree and a drink
Was awesome and fun to jump around and drink at different places and different scenes.

My wedding anniversary is coming up in August. Wife hinted that she wants to eat at Emeril's since she has never been there (I have). Certainly not anything new in terms of the NOLA restaurant scene, however the quality of food should be consistent and very good. We ate at Restaurant R'volution last year and it was delicious.
The night before our wedding anniversary we are eating at Domenica, so there's that too.

I've always enjoyed Emeril's. I posted about our last meal there in April. It was excellent.

We have a popeyes down the road that I hit up last week, so I'm good on that.
I'm more adventurous than my wife and since this is for her more so than me, I think sticking to traditional food would be wise. I don't care for pasta dishes for the most part. I've been looking at the menus online and it all looks great.
