Good question—same for me, but I am looking for something during the day with kids in late April. Any suggestions?

Eat somewhere on the water with kids - Conch Republic or Louie’s. Blue Heaven would work. El Siboney if you want some good Cuban food

Seven Fish if you are looking for the best food, Hot Tin Rood Balcony slightly before Sunset if you are looking for the best atmosphere/view, Louie’s Backyard Deck if you are looking for the best Combination. Garbo’s And El Siboney for lunch are delicious. Blue Heaven is great for Brunch but it’s usually a long wait on the weekend. I would do Louie’s Backyard.

7 fish is the only place I've been that was up there with NOLA, and I've been everywhere on the list so far.

If you gave me a fixed amount today and said I'm dropping you in Key West for an hour, I'd probably just go get a pound of stone crab claws and them outside Eaton street seafood market with their sauce.

Their Lobster Roll is pretty good also.

Add another vote for Louie's Backyard. Although if you're craving Cuban food El Siboney is tough to beat.

Best fish sandwich I’ve ever had anywhere is at Caroline’s on Duval Street.
Huge portion, two adults can split one and it tastes fantastic!!
Seating right on Duval, outdoors. Great atmosphere.
Right at lunch gets a little busy and may be a few minutes wait. Service is very good and fairly quick.

No. It's a great little laid-back town with good food, plenty of bar options, and world class fishing/boating/whatever else you want to do on the water. Stay in old town and you can walk everywhere.
