Probably 2 years ago or so. Probably a year since I've had a Root Beer Float. Both are freaking awesome.

Nope. I was sitting in Lou's Cafe and some clown in a life preserver came in and wanted a free Pepsi.

I started making them again few years back when I retired and found myself recalling my early years.they were a big deal and only for special occasions when I was a kid.. three kids and we each had our own special straw for them.. the mr planters plastic straws..

. retirement brought me back to my youth.. I sleep when I want… sit in the fields looking at birds..turtles… making coke floats.. eating watermelon ( watermelon was a big deal also…would go down with my dad to 7-11 and get them .. ice cold and out of their cooler… ).. and my wife brought back a box of ding dings from Costco…first time I had king ding dong in my house since I was a kid.

Life is good.

(especially if it is real root beer and not the fake stuff)
