Sammy's was definitely subpar the last time I went a few months ago. Portions shrunk and quality went down. Not a good combo.

I worked there as a line cook during those year while at LSU. The staff was top notch, and the managers actually cared. I’ve only been a few times since I graduated, but each time has been disappointing. Last time I went they served me cold onion rings.

He was awesome to work with. Ray was the best prep cook hands down. Don't frick with Mama at lunch. She held down the grill.

Sammy’s has ALWAYS been shitty. The food is overpriced for its quality and people cum all over themselves about the place. I just don’t get it. I really don’t.

Sammy’s has 100% declined. When the one on Highland expanded was the beginning. Man I loved that place but it isn’t the same.
Their crawfish recipe is still one of the best out there.
