I worked at a WH for about 6 months in college. They’re system for keeping things organized is pretty cool. The waitress yells the order out in certain words, that keys the cook to mark a plate with a mayo or jelly packet, a pickle, stuff like that on a certain spot on the plate, and everyone starts cooking what was yelled out as it’s yelled out. Then he can look at a row of 6 plates and tell exactly what goes on each one.

But to answer your question, lot of the people there couldn’t/wouldn’t want to pass a drug test. They payed higher than minimum wage back then (2004ish). They also paid in cash. It was taxed, you just got an envelope with cash and change in it.

Breakfast mood - All Star - eggs over medium, bacon, grits, wheat toast, pecan waffle.

Lunch/dinner mood - Texas Patty melt, hash browns - scattered and smothered.
