A dessert or booze if I'm a guest.

Even the worst pie or rot gut will get consumed eventually.

Unless they have specifically asked that I make a side dish, I let them do the heavy lifting.

Good to know, I'll have to check it out. FYI, parkway is featuring a thanksgiving poboy until Christmas every Wednesday. Roasted turkey, gravy, stuffing, some type of spicy jelly, etc. I was there last wed night and they said they had sold out at 5pm. Get it NOLA folks
