What was your favorite Christmas treat or snack that your neighbor gave out?

My aunt always made a Christmas crack mix which really is the white chocolate trail mix.. plain chex mix, pretzels, and the green and red M&Ms.

I made these for teachers last year and they turned out great. On a whim, I used mini cheezits and they were so damn delicious. I’ll definitely do these again this year. The Great Value brand oyster crackers are smaller than the Premium ones, and are so much easier to shovel in your mouth by the handful 
Seasoned Oyster Crackers
¾ cup canola oil
1 (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
½ teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon seasoned salt
¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
2 (16 ounce) packages oyster crackers

A really deluxe chex mix with plenty of nuts is a good change from sweets.
Sausage cheese balls are a great idea, since they can be breakfast or snack.
My mom's neighbors give her the candies made from a pretzel, rolo, and pecan half. They have no business being as good as they are.

My grandparents made several different kinds of Italian cookies. I swear it seemed like they’d give a tin of cookies to everyone in their town. They’d also give fruitcakes, and I don’t know a single person my age who actually enjoys a fruitcake.
I typically make something called “sugar house trash,” it’s a variation of a sweet/salty Chex mix and my neighbors typically rave about it. I’ve baked cookies in the past but nothing gets as many compliments as the trash.

One of my neighbors gave me some kind of homemade baileys last year. I hope they do it again this year

Just a neighborly thing where you make a treat for your neighbors and pass them out. My parents always had a bunch at Christmas time. Usually it’s fudge or cheese straws or pecans or something.

My mom used to make these oyster crackers often. Not just Christmas. Big hit.
