In Baton Rouge I like Mansur's. I live in Lafayette and Byronz failed big time here. Ruffino's is coming and I hope they fare better. Cochon failed here because the gas station boudin is just too good. :headshake:

I'm not on here a lot, but being from BR, Roberto's is probably my all around favorite

Finally got around to trying this place after hearing so much hype for it.

Will not be going back. Not sure where to start. There was zero service. I had to go grab my own plates even. The pizza was super super greasy. Tasted like grease. Crust was ok. Sauce had no flavor. Or maybe the complete grease tray of a pizza I had took away its flavor. I give the pizza a 4 out of 10. Only gets a 4 because I love NY Style pizza. Otherwise would be lower.

Wow... Sammys, Flemings, and Superior are 3 of the most overrated places in the city, IMO. I've only been to Roberto's once, but it was quite expensive and not worth the price, IMO. Mason Lacour is the best restaurant in the city, IMO.
