I will give y'all that all of those are great beers and side by side better than Guinness. Something about the lighter taste and creaminess of Guinness just does it for me.

Also, must just be me, but putting coffee in a beer doesn't automatically make it good before noon.

too heavy before noon, IMO. Guinness is the perfect breakfast beer.

Never had it, will have to try.

Have had a NB Trippel and OJ for what is known as a Beermosa in Fort Collins. Will say it was damn good.

Sounds good too.

I don't really hate or think guiness is bad but it's pretty flavorless to me compared to other stouts. I'd prefer Irish Channel stout or Buffalo sweat for straight up stouts.

I'd drink it by the pitcher if I could.

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout would be my chapter of that book.

I'm a Egalitarian through and through. I like good stuff, but I am not above Miller Lite or Miller High Life -- especially if I've got a buzz or plan on drinking to excess. It's a waste to keep on drinking good beer after a certain point.

Same here. It is almost flavorless when you're used to more robust stouts.
