I don't think anyone has come out as a snob in this thread. You can pretty much see most of these guys in the fbd thread everyday on the food board.

Of course there is a lot of snobs on here. No reason to have a board to talk about shitty beer.

Calm down F, was referring that the beer snob would talk down about Guinness then everyone doing exactly that in the thread while aligning themselves with something other than the snob.

Beer snob is all relative. I am considered one among my friends, but on the FBD threads I don't get out there as much as others.

Am I allowed to be everything under the yes column? I guess that might make me egalitarian, but sometimes the only thing I take into consideration is to get drunk. Other times I factor in a bunch of variables. Finally, I like to try new things.

This. The first question I ask the bartender when we go out is "do y'all have anything new?" and if the answer is yes then I take it pretty much no questions asked. Then after we've gone through whatever is "new" I move into whatever strikes me (usually IPAs or, at the moment, Saisons). At the same time, if we're having a crawfish boil and someone shows up with a case of coors light, I'm a drink it.
