The muffaletta. I like mine the best, but I also love the one from DiMartino’s, Algiers location. Tell Jeannine that Will sent you.

Cold, leftover fried speckled trout filet as a foldover sandwich, with a couple dashes of hot sauce, using Evangeline Maid bread.

It must be Evangeline Maid.

I could eat a Banh Mi every single day.

Vietnamese is also my favorite cuisine, so there's that.

Italian Beef

Turkey & Rare Roast Beef

Pepperoni & Roast Beef…Jersey Mike combo, skip Mike’s way and get mayo

Any poboy on real French bread, moved away long ago and have seen all sorts of abominations called poboys

I’ll eat just about any sandwich ‘cept that Monte Cristo dessert bs

It all depends on what’s happening in my life at the moment but in no particular order.

PB&j with a cold glass of milk

Cubano

Sloppy Roast beef poboy (would be shrimp but discovered I’ve developed a shell fish allergy and want to live. The epitome may be worth it.)

Bacon, runny egg, and cheese on Texas toast.

There was a restaurant in Gulf Breeze, FL named Whistler's Walk. It is long since closed. It was a New Orleans style theme and they had a sandwich called "the Loadie." I still dream about it. It was on the perfect French bread, roast beef, this white cheese that melted into the bread and a BBQ sauce that dripped everywhere. It was wrapped in a yard of butcher paper and with some Zapps, it was perfect.

Luckily, I was dating my now wife at the time, and made her get it a few times when we were in town. She remembers it too. Sandwich perfection.

The Mexican Chicken (Meat Church) is up on my list lately.

A BLT with a great tomato is solid.

The Project Lounge (Biloxi) used to have a great steak sandwich.

Toasted rye, heirloom tomato, fresh and pickled jalapeño, choice of condiment. Amazing.

Croissant, pepper jack cheese, bacon/ham.

Sourdough, seared with spinach, spicy Gouda cheese, Boars Head turkey and a mayo/balsamic mixture.

one that I sadly cannot get anymore....30+ years ago while in college I worked at a mom-and-pop pizza joint that had a ham and cheese sandwich on their menu that didn't really sell much...so every night after closing we'd take the hoagie roll (that's what it was called in the packaging) and split it, spread both sides with Seven Seas creamy italian dressing off the salad bar, pile both sides with shaved Hormel ham and top with pepperoni slices then grated mozzarella...put open faced in a pizza pan in the pizza oven till the bread was slightly toasted and the pepperoni's and paper thin ham shavings were crispy on the edges, take it out and drizzle a little more creamy italian on top...damn, my mouth is watering just thinking about it

Because of this post, we are making this at some point early this week. Good god that chicken sandwich looks delicious.

And I hate (really, love) all of you because I’m a sandwich freak that hasn’t had so many of these in a long time with having three young kids. Now I’m gaining 10 pounds I didn’t need to before football season cause now all I want is sandwiches
