Parenton's on a bun ?

They butter it and put it on the flat top for a great crust and flavor combo. I get it with light mayo, pickles and hot sauce. It is awesome.

That's the way they do the poboys way up here at Magic Grill in Mecca.

Gonna have to try it. I feel you with the light mayo, sometimes they get ridiculous with it and that stuff is thick. I know you will disagree with this, but the shrimp is my favorite poboy there.

Glass, 12more and I had our first meatball poboys at parenton's yesterday. Could have used more marinara in my opinion, but damn it was good

Oh, and offer up your favorite shrimp poboy

Bozo's in Metairie, 21st and Ridgelake. And THE best oysters in the metropolitan area, easily (Chris has the connections.)

I'm on the Domilise's bandwagon. I hate mayo, love ketchup, and love the hot sauce on it. Usually get half shrimp, half oyster.

What are your thoughts on Domilise's?
My wife and I were planning on stopping off there for lunch one day next week. We're going to Parkway for lunch the other day (We're only going to be in town for 2 days). So, if not Domilise's, where should we go for a good po-boy in the Uptown/Warehouse district area?
