But in every concept of the legal definition of Bourbon, it’s not.
It 100% meets the legal definition of bourbon

Four Roses Single Barrel
Rare Breed Barrel Proof
I will always keep these with backups for myself.
Green River Full proof I consider as good for this lineup.

Would not say they are my "top 2" brands but 2 I always have around are Evan Williams BIB and Old Grand Dad 114.

Benchmark is not good. Blind every offering with a $15 bottle VO Barton 100. It doesn’t stack up. I think the top floor is actually the best one but it’s splitting hairs on a bottom barrel offering.

Green River is making some good stuff. The FP is very good for the price point

Blantons is a good low proof entry level bourbon to share but at $80 retail now it’s a pass every time. It’s starting to be a shelfer in Illinois which I pass through pretty often and has good allocation compared to most states.

Jack is definitely not a bourbon

Ill have to find some Green River. I dont think ive seen it. Now that several have mentioned it maybe itll jump out at me.

Blantons is over priced and hard to find in fort worth. Its good but i find eagle rare and Col Taylor to be just as good.

Surprised the bourbon snobs haven't DV you to death. These are two very solid "affordable" pours, especially the OGD114.
