Brought work home to deal with over the weekend. Still managed to get a pork roast. big white limas, rice, gravy, salad and biscuits on the table. Delivered a go box, too. :)

Those beans are exactly how I like them. And my favorite white bean hands down is the large lima.

Y'all. These all look and sound amazing.

I had a Spicy Chicken sandwich from Wendy's because I'm a garbage person.

Fries and a Coke.

From the Masters Menu thread

quote:

Wine braised smoked beef short ribs (3 hrs. smoked then 3 hrs. braised in wine and stock). Sauce defatted, reduced then fortified with tomato paste, dijon mustard and spices. Thicken with sherry & corn starch.
Served over cheesy polenta.
Roasted turnips, carrots & cauliflower

Not much of a recipe. Dump some self rising flour in a bowl, cut in too much butter, a palm measurement of salt, add in milk until the dough looks right, hand pat out the biscuits out and bake at about 425* until done. Brush a little melted butter on top or be lazy and just spread a little on top. It’ll melt itself. :)
