Pulled pork tacos. They were good but I’m definitely pulled porked out after this.

Let’s be real I ate 1/5 of this, but dinner was spinach bread delivered via Waitr.

That soup looks great Darla. Care to share the recipe?

Tonight was cheeseburgers. Simple with mayo, mustard, and some dill slices. Nothing else. I didn't feel like doing anything fancier and cheeseburgers are just good.

I'm officially sick of red velvet cake, though. I wish there were none left, but I can't bring myself to throw it out because it's delicious even though I'm tired of it.

Well, I sort of winged it. I sauteed half of a diced yellow onion, and 1/4 of a diced red bell pepper in butter. Added 2 cups of chicken stock and not quite a whole container of sliced mushrooms (rough chopped). I had a bone-in ham steak that I cubed up and added most of to the soup and simmered until it smelled like ham. Added a couple of heaping Tbs of cream cheese and a cup of heavy cream and some fresh dill. After a few minutes I threw in a handful of grated cheese and gave it a few squirts of lemon. Somewhere along the way I used a bit of Tony's and a bunch of Louisiana Gold Green sauce.

Sorry I didn't use a recipe and I was just making a small batch.

I may try it out tomorrow night. It should still be in the fifties/sixties and it's always nice to throw the windows open on a night like that with a bowl of good soup. Thanks!
