Went to the Blue Mass for First Responders at the Cathedral downtown then went over to Batavia to grab some Indonesian grub. I had

Beef Rendang
Jalapeno Chicken
Steamed rice
Green Beans and Tofu

It was great to finally have a tasty meal again.

Why do you always put a space before you type your post?

I just put a shepherd’s/cottage pie in the oven. The filling and mashed potatoes tasted good separately. Hopefully the finished product will be good. I’ve never had it

Beef stew. Temps dropped here for a couple of days in the 60s so it was finally cool enough for some soups/stews.

Back to the 80s/90s by Friday.

Wasn’t the plan but as things worked out and in tribute to the hotdog thread, two all beef dogs (don’t remember the brand), broiled until I had blackened skin, chili, mayo, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, chili, cheese, raw onion and sweet relish on the side, w/ Ruffles chips. Think I added all of the commonly used condiments, including those loved and despised, except Sauerkraut. While my 91 year old Mom loves the stuff, none of her three kids could ever acquire a taste for the foul stuff. Anyway, I’m full and happy!

I'm in the rest phase of round 2 of chemo. 10 more rounds to go. My oncologist is sending to a cardiologist for my chest pains some time in the next couple of weeks.

Overall I'm doing well, even if I experience nausea and pain everyday.

Hi CJ,
I have been following your posts and happy to hear that you had an appetite. I know when I was in the middle of chemo and/or radiation I would cry because I just wanted to be able to eat and enjoy food again! When you are able to eat - enjoy and pig out!
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
If the nausea gets too bad ask them for the patch. It is a compound but it will control the nausea and you will sleep a lot so it helps with the pain in that regard.
