Red Beans (actually pinto beans) and rice......experimenting by smoking the chopped onion, bells and carrots....and well....I put zucchini in there too....all on the smoker outside for a couple of hours....since I make it vegetarian and so don't get the smokiness from sausage.

Was looking at butterflies while I smoked....

I just ate. It’s not the best on the planet but it sure as hell ain’t the worst. Especially considering I worked 3 minutes to make it.

I see butterflies when I smoke too Zappa.

I'm having a nice turkey sandwich on toasted sourdough.

As a kid, I hated Chef-Boy-R-D, so my mom quit buying it. I havent tried it since I was 10.

Is that weird?

Scout's honor. I have never tried any of their stuff.

My mom always made the very best spaghetti anyone ever opened a bottle ketchup to base their sauce on. We were somewhat poor, canned spaghetti for four kids was too expensive and she did the best a mom could do with what we had.

Then I married a girl that can place a pasta dish beside anyone's and stand toe to toe with them with Italian cooking. That is the problem we have eating out - veal picata, chicken, fish. We pay whatever and then laugh that Chef so and so can't match the wife's dish. I will put our Cannelloni against anyone's.

Veal Picata?

Veal Parmigiana?

Shrimp Putanesco

Alfredo

Lasagna Red

Chicken (White) Lasagna

Carbonara

I need to stop.
