Evening Otis. I'm in cubicle land for another hour but have decided on filets, roasted carrots, and boiled baby potatoes slathered in butter & garlic. And cabernet.

Leftovers from the holiday. Homemade salsa featuring smoked tomatoes and charcoal roasted corn. I have a couple of leftover wood smoked chicken breast sandwiches, and I ordered an Asian hot pot for the picnic and had leftover tom yum based soup broth. I went to Rouses yesterday and picked up some nice head on shrimp which I cooked them in and will be eating as shrimp cocktail today. It's usually hard to get excited about leftovers, but I'm really looking forward to this stuff.

Buddy and I went to Wedge Brewing in the River Arts District of Asheville. Had a Wedge ESB with ginseng and dry hopped, then ordered from a "cajun" food truck. Roast Beef debris po-boy. Not too bad for this part of the world.
