Took leftover garlic-roasted potato cubes and reheated in oven. Topped with cheese and broiled. Topped with salsa picante and sour cream.

I was cooking at a camp on Bruin years ago during deer season. shite eating dog from next door took the lid off my gumbo and helped himself one night. I caught him in the act or he might have foundered himself.


Reheated his leftovers the next day and it was damn good. We called him "gumbo eatin' shiteater" from then on.

NASCAR has a lab that brings cast iron gumbo pots home on the regular,,, w/o the gumbo, though..

Started it yesterday afternoon so that's be reason why so good.
