Southwest quiona salad (quiona, black beans, corn, orange bell pep, extra green onions cuz i like gris gris) with an olive oil, lime juice, cumin and S&P dressing.

Maybe a glass of wine if I'm feeling frisky.

The green onions will elevate your dish substantially.

Burger and possibly some roasted fresh picked red and white beets. Thinking about a curry type seasoning on them. Leftover green beans amandine if I don't get to the beets.

Last two leftover enchiladas. Maybe bake a sweet potato too because I have the odd craving for one. Odd pair, but it's clean out the fridge night

Leftovers...

Pasta
Fried Catfish
Roasted Red Potatoes with Rosemary

Going to Shreveport tomorrow for bidness. That means a stopover at Maxwell's for Andouille. That means Gumbo Friday night.

Currently thawing out chicken stock for the base.

Sweet potatoes are always acceptable, no matter the pairing

RIP... I once had a pet fish who died three days after I got it. Apparently you aren't supposed to feed them as often as humans eat.

Had something very similar last night. Switched black beans for black eyed peas. Excellent and will be having again.

Tonight is thursday night red beans. Bought some smoked sausage from Emmitt's, will be my first time using them.

Sounds awesome. I love me some black eyed peas. I'll try that variation next time.

I like it because it was light and filling. And did not take very long at all to make

So was the chicken and watermelon dish made somehow together or was it that you were just having both?

Sounds delish, Moon Flower.

GG, you've got time to do the beets...you won't eat before 11 pm anyhow.

About to stroll down to Pesche in a bit and overeat with a vengeance .
