Been eating pintxos in San Sebastian all day after watching a stage of the Tour de France. IMO tapas in Madrid blows away pintxos in SS.

Salad with Thousand Island dressing, boiled Shrimp with horseradish comeback sauce, and the last of our lemon, blueberry, and almond cake. Sister Shubert provided the very good rolls.

Your onions look good. What pickling did you use? There is a place in Jackson on South State in Fondren called Pig and Pint.
IMO, they have the best pickled red onion in the Jackson area. If not, I need to know the other place. My favorite there are their pulled pork nachos, which have a nice serving of very thinly sliced pickled red onions on the plate.

Spaghetti, meatballs, Italian sausage, corn on the cob, salad and garlic bread. Fed my bartender (her corn is there but wrapped in foil). :)
