The lasagna thread earlier this week or late last week inspired me to make my own for the first time. I followed MD’s recipe for the most part, but skipped the shrooms (I love them but my wife and kids don’t), and added a couple layers of chopped spinach to half of the pan. Stouffer’s is good for a weeknight, but I’m gonna add this to the weekend rotation.

Vietnamese eggrolls and chicken wings and a big bowl of pho from Bao on this cold day. It was delicious.

Tried a new food truck today. Rice and fried rice were great. Both general tso and orange tasted chemically. Won't return.

Mailman, my dad and I were just talking about those Navy Cove oysters the other day. He still says those are some of the best oysters he’s ever eaten.

Had crawfish earlier this afternoon. Supper was "clean out the fridge" night.

Options included Papa John's pizza, boneless Buffalo wings, shrimp pesto pasta, BBQ chicken sandwiches and homemade BBQ chicken pizza.

Fed my wife, four teenagers and me.

No downvotes tonight. Paul’s mother must have taken his tablet away again.

Thanks man! Greer’s in Fairhope starting selling our oyster today so we did some free samples. Otis2 feel free to message me when you are ordering as salinity is up and down this time of year.

I got a 100 count shipped in Wednesday. Entertained some folks with them Thursday. We enjoyed the hell out of them.
