Made some black rice and flounder

I have also been on a kick of roasting garlic cloves. I make 1-2 lbs at a time and keep them in the fridge to snack on. Don't even care if I stink.

Late afternoon, early evening was full of conflict and indecision. I was home and planning on baking some chicken for supper. My wife called and asked if I wanted to meet her at Morton’s In Madisonville. I explained that I had just emptied out my pockets, fixed a cup of coffee, it was twenty or so miles away and that while I had rich relatives, I was on a fixed income and probably couldn’t afford it. She said that she was buying. I poured the coffee out of my cup, grabbed my license, keys, etc., left my wallet at home and headed that way. Crawfish toast for an appetizer, a couple of salads, she had seafood pasta with crab cakes and I had a platter.

we were frying shrimp but I ran out of propane LOL. So plan B is leftover shrimp creole with some butternut squash ravioli we had and a blue cheese salad.

the very outstanding tartar sauce I made will have to wait
