Fine poster and I wish I'd met him.

Did another 13 pound brisket overnight. 3rd for the weekend. Itch is scratched.
Eggplant Gratin. Recipe will be posted after I taste the result.
Mrs O's stuffed eggs. Fresh ear corn.

Someone told me about a Brazilian steakhouse marinade and how freaking awesome it is so I have a couple of steaks in that stuff waiting to be eaten tonight. That and baked potatoes and Caesar salad. We will see.

Also, rip Kanjungee.

3 beef filets in the water bath since about 4pm. Will finish them on the new cajun broiler. Serve with a little garlic butter on top. Stuffed potatoes. Creamed spinach.

Rip KajunGee. This place won't be the same.

Smoked a couple of rib racks, 3-2-1 method. Came out beautiful (use your imagination). Corn on the con, pasta salad and Mom's recipe for nanner pudding. Delicious
RIP Kanungee. May you have the best of everything

Prompted by the other thread I made shakshuka.

It was delicious. It's definitely going to be in my normal rotation now.

I just wanted to add that the Brazilian steakhouse marinade packet from the supermarket is awesome. We had three small trim filets (tornados I think they are called) so I wasn't afraid of messing them up. Definitely different but still very good. It will go into the rotation.
