MD, you post lots of tasty looking food...but the Cajun in me looks at that soup and sees prison or cafeteria food. LOL. We do eat with our eyes first.

Vietnamese takeout: cha gio, and bun with grilled shrimp.

Pimento Cheese dip?

We had a friend who made pimento cheese with grated sharp cheddar, pimentos and (drained) rotel. Used it as a dip with frito scoops corn chips. Haven't thought about that stuff he made in a long time. It was really good. It was his thing and you could always count on him to bring it to any neighborhood gathering.

Might have to do something about the craving you have now thrown on me.

Bratwurst on a buttered bun, topped with sauteed onions, peppers and mushrooms. Added some whole grain mustard and a couple of scoops of sauerkraut.

Handful of Spicy Nacho Doritos on the side.

Vodka waters.

How many Mennonites?

Looks like a comforting soup.

Enchiladas and Spanish rice. Half are chicken enchiladas and half are cheese because my husband prefers cheese only.

I should have used a full sized plate.

Whew Darla! Looks good.

How many Mennonites would it take to make some Mennonite noodles?

Not as many as you would think.

We buy them here

If you ever stop at their place, they make a great almond poppyseed cake. I think I posted that recipe once. The wife has maybe 4 of their (Mennonite) recipe books.

We brought the camper up to Chestnut Bay Resort on lake Weiss yesterday and met up with some friends for the weekend. My night to cook.

Shrimp and chicken scampi, pineapple/lime/cilantro rice, salad and garlic bread cooked on the Blackstone.

Nice post. Good looking food. Like your grill.

I have a bunch of stolen copper scrap stories I could share, but I won't.
