No cooking here tonight. Made tuna salad and enjoyed a good sandwich on a lightly toasted croissant and kettle fried chip on the side.

A huge Blue cheese salad. And a serving on smothered round steak.

Rotisserie chicken tacos.

Also just made this, but it’s not for me. Just thought it turned out pretty.

No cooking here, either.

My son’s girlfriend sent over a Lebanese dish called sabanegh be-riz. Spinach and ground beef stew with rice. The rice also has vermicelli in it. Mix them to serve, with a few squirts of lemon juice and a little white vinegar.

My husband picked up a poboy for himself and got me some catfish to go with my meal. A little leftover soup, as well.

Yes, I mixed the rice and meat mixture together and that’s what you see on the plate with the catfish. I’d eaten some of it for lunch already! It’s good! And believe me, I was worried I’d have to pretend. All good.
