Switch tuna for salmon, cut the corn, and swap Malbec for chardonnay and that has been my 2-3 night a week meal as of late.
So easy, and so good.

Not a pretty plate of food, but the taste is on point.

We went to habaneros in Covington. It was pretty good. I had steak and chorizo tacos. I still can't decide what the best mexican on the northshore is.

Grabbed some hand pies from a South African place down the street.
First time there so we got a variety to split so we could try some different ones.
Spinach & feta, Cornish and Beef & Mushroom.
They were all great (and the pastry was scratch-made and FANTASTIC), but the beef & mushroom was my favorite. Main squeeze liked the spinach & feta the best.

Leftover Ribs and cheesy cauliflower.
Got too hot today, working on fence. Getting too old for honest labor.

Looks good.
Have dropped mine on the traeger for the hint of smoked flavor, season with old bay, a blackened fish cajun spice I picked up at publix (name escapes me but it is damn tasty), minced garlic and sprig it rosemary, cilantro and dill per filet (if larger salmon steak, I use a couple of each). Grill until flaky (about 140-145) Then remove the greens and cover with a lemon herb butter finishing sauce and enjoy.
So, tasty... num,num,num

African Meat pies.
One of the best meals I can remember eating on the road was in the small restaurant at the north camp of the Hwange game reserve in Zimbabwe. The guy described them as "Meat Pies". They were great, meaty with a nice brown gravy and I assume they were Springbok, since there were a lot of them close by. Washed them down with quinine water and felt so British.
I tipped the guy $25.00 US, for a $20 meal (US equivalent to Zimbabwe dollars) and I thought he was going to cry.

Based on your description, yours sounds better than mine!

If it is fresh and thick, you could steam it in an old boot and make it tasty (leather has a certain sophistication for a palette)
Good is good. The rest is just fanciful window dressing
