Chicken Florentine, so simple and so incredibly good, made by the incredibly talented man of the house.

Chicken and dumplings - another thread on here made me crave it.

With a nod to the biscuit/dumpling folks, I made some Red Lobster mix biscuits and topped off with a spoonful of Mexican Crema.

Kids wanted breakfast, but my wife got a huge promotion at work today so we compromised. Grabbed some small filets for the celebration part.

Kids didn't want hashbrowns so I tried something new and made mashed potatoes with bacon, green onion and cheese. Then I put them in the waffle maker to make potato cakes.

Money shot:

Daughter insisted on making the eggs and she added a shite load of cheese.

Brussels sprouts and baked chicken. It wasn’t all brown. I also had some red ketchup to dip that crispy skin in.

Crawfish Time on Verot. We realized we hadn't boiled crawfish all during Lent, since Mardi Gras day.

Prices coming down: paid 5.79/lb for a 5 lb order (x2).

Very satisfied tonight. Even the claw meat peeled out easily, and often.
