Anyone else a little irritated that rjone is taking a less than angry attitude? I'm a tolerant person and could understand possibly charging a few extra drinks, but tipping yourself $42 after already being tipped $40, plus intentionally trying to mask your name by putting burger king as the server?
I would be out for her job and possibly filing theft charges.

i've heard of bars automatically adding tips to bills over a certain amount of money. i assume thats what happened here as the tip comes out to 20%.
also i doubt the server was trying to "mask" her name from the customer. it was probably just an inside joke between the staff and I'm sure the manager would be able to tell you who "burger king" was if asked.
still that sucks and that trick bartender should've corrected your tab when you brought it up. i would have.

It was a shitty move and she deserves to pay his tab and be fired for that. I'd like to know the policy on charging a 20 percent tip on a tab for them...especially since they already gave 40 in cash. What a bitch.
