The only place I have been to that served warm salsa was Velvet Cactus.
My mouth is still dry from eating there in March.
It’s a shame that atmosphere is ruined by dry, shitty food.

When you say "warm," do you mean heated up or room temp? Don't think I've ever had it heated up. Room temp a lot though...

You are. Cold salsa is for yankees. Everyone knows it. What's up yankee?

Born and raised in Alabama and I like cold salsa. Fight me.

If it’s warm it better have cheese .

Not a fan. One thing I definitely don't like at El Tiempo. But their carne asada makes up for it.

Never had it this hot. Usually just warm, not hot.

Cold salsa means they most likely just dumped El Paso onto a saucer and served it to you. Really good salsa is served warm generally.

I don't know if it's traditional or what, but I'm not a fan of it.
Posted on 5/16/18 at 9:53 am to ShootingsBricks4Life
Not necessarily. Most places make very large batches and keep in the fridge.

Possibly. I've always thought it was traditional that it was warm. I mean at home I have it in the fridge but I do enjoy a really good warm salsa when I'm out.

Warm could just mean that it was recently made / cooked. Not all salsa is cooked over heat either.

Room temp is preferred, but I'll definitely eat it warm or cold as long as it's good. Velvet Cactus does theirs warm and I love it.

I feel sorry for you folks who have the whole "cilantro tastes like soap" thing going on.
Cilantro is by far my favorite herb.

I actually don't mind salsa if there is a little cilantro in it but if there is too much, it is overpowering and ruins the whole thing for me.

Sorry you're genetically inferior.
