Anybody have a good belgian waffle maker they really like? Looking to get one, and just about every tester review I read recommends a different one. Any baws here have a strong waffle game?

I have this one

Would definitely recommend

Side note - Gluten free waffles taste like shite. Just use a regular mix.

Thanks. I still have my balls, so I don't care about gluten

I’ve owned or cooked on dozens of them and this one is bar none, without a doubt, the best: LINK. It heats up faster, the waffles cook perfectly, have deep pockets and most important of all, it has the best non-stick cooking surface.

I've had the same Krups one for 15 or so years and it works well. It only gets used once or twice a year though. We're more of a pancake house. The only negative is it doesn't have removable plates, so it's kind of a pain to clean. This one...

Do you have any opinions on any rotating ones? I generally like the flip styles to help spread the batter out more evenly.

I'd love to get the Waring Pro double, but Cuisinart bought it out, and it looks like they made some big quality cuts. The back stand looks to be just plastic. I've seen a lot of reviews of them snapping in half. The used Warings I can find are like $300 now. Not worth that haha.

Had no idea that they were bought. Mine is about 6 years old, but looks like new. I clean it while it’s still warm after every use.

Yea, I had read really good reviews about them, so I kept searching for one, and nobody was selling it. Their website is still up with the products listed, but no option to add it to my cart. Only ones I could find were used and still going for around $300 (I think it was around $100 new when it was still around).

My Mom got this one for me for Christmas one year and it kicks butt.

It's has a light that tells you when to turn it over to get an even cook and another one that tells you when it;s done.

Yea I've sort of been looking at this one. How is the base on the one your mom has? My concern from seeing other's reviews of the cuisinart ones is the base and support stand is just cheap plastic that has a tendency to just snap.

Never really understood the point of flipping- don’t they heat equally on both sides anyway? I have a Villa waffle maker that prob 20 yrs old. Make great waffles, really solid build

I own the Belgian and the regular from All Clad. Rock solid construction and very even heating.
