Hello Friends,

Any recommendations of a good Po Boy shop in New Orleans to pick up some sandwiches for my family for lunch today (Sunday)?

Thanks.

Don’t know if they’re open but Parasol’s is a good spot.

If you are in NO proper, note that R&O’s is in Metairie

If in Nola, Bevi Seafood is open today

R&O’s quality is all over the place. When it’s good it’s great but when it’s bad, it’s almost Kitchen Nightmares levels of bad.

Parkway is consistently good.

Where are you headed in the city. Could greatly adjust where the suggestion is.

Some of their stuff is great. Their RB poboy is pretty bland.

And when open, I find them VERY proud of their po-boys with the prices they charge.

The roast beef is awesome but don't sleep in the meatball poboy. I'd say it's top 3 behind the roast beef and oyster.

They charge $13.50 for a large po-boy that’s about 12” long and packed with shrimp. $9 for a small.

Not sure where else you’ll get a po-boy of that quality for a better price.

Yep. Not only packed with good sized shrimp, but they usually have so much that several extra shrimp fall out so you have some on the side

Yea they have huge portions. And they could have ultimate tourist trap prices and they don’t. They keep it real

When I'm in the French Quarter I like to get a surf n turf from Johnny's. I have no idea where that fits in the local hierarchy, but it's good to me

Parkway's drive-thru system is a life saver on Sundays.
