Any tips on keeping tank valve from freezing up? Got a new burner last season and couldn't keep it flowing enough to get crawfish back to a boil

A larger tank will help with freezing.
ETA:
Do you mean your regulator was frosting up?
Describe your setup. Is it just a valve with no regulator?

it's not the valve freezing up.
Two solutions:
1. Get a bigger size tank (I assume you are using a double jet burner).
2. Place the tank in a tub with water halfway up it will prevent it from freezing up.

This is what I do, a cheap heat exchanger to keep the tank from freezing.
