Maybe I’m entering my old man phase but I much rather just call and put my name down versus having another login/password and two factor authentication not to mention someone else having my CC info just to get hacked like everyone else.

Technology is supposed to make life simpler. Now we have to have an account with all our personal info for everything

Depends on where/what you are booking. I’ve never had to give a CC on Resy.

But that restricts to only making reservations when the restaurant is open. I can make a reservation at midnight when I think about wanting to go somewhere on an app
