Between Walk On’s and Raising Cane’s, are they a couple of the fastest growing restaurant chains in the south and/or nation?
I think CFA probably has a much bigger growth than Cane’s, but they have been around for at least 40 years.
I enjoy eating at the tiny, rundown, original Cane’s. I remember the hour wait, in the mid-90’s, in the middle of the night, to get the Caniac.

Picadilly is probably currently the second most expansive BR founded restaurant behind Canes. But they're losing locations fast.

eta: Picadilly has locations in AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, TN, and VA.

Canes moved to Dallas but they still keep an office in BR so they can claim they are headquarters in BR. It’s kinda shitty, moving to Texas but still trying to act like you didn’t.

I saw an article dated from May 2019, Canes was number 6 on the list for fastest growing based on sales

Kind of like claiming you submitted the idea for Canes in a business class at LSU and got a C when you went to UGA and made up the story?

Good sauce though.

Well, Dallas is headquarters to a number of large restaurant chains so it makes sense to be in the middle of competitors when it comes to hiring the best talent in that industry.

ETA: Also, Todd still lives in BR

I get moving to a bigger city, but not sure why Dallas. Maybe buck the trend of corporate restaurant land of Dallas and do Austin, Houston, Nashville or Charlotte instead.

Walkons is growing like crazy all over the southeast. Not sure about Cane's. We have several Popeyes here in Richmond and a few Zaxbys but only one Cane's and its on campus at VCU with no parking and no later evening hours. And when the university is closed so is Canes

Dallas is the home to the most restaurant companies in America. All of the talent that you can hire for restaurants industry can be found in Dallas. In order to grow the business Canes had to look for support personnel in a bigger city. The company had a hard time finding people that wanted to move their families to Baton Rouge.

Canes pays taxes through Louisiana.

And??? It’s a support office. They provide support for most of the company. Home office/head quarters in Baton Rouge.

None of it was a LA invention, all are knockoffs.

This is all that matters. Many, many people bang on Canes for “moving to Dallas” when they have no idea what they are talkin bout.

If they wanted to move to Texas why didn't they consider Shreveport?
